Terms & Conditions
By proceeding with fingerprinting services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms:
- You confirm that you have reviewed and selected the fingerprint request type that best suits your intended purpose(s).
- Nationwide Document Services is responsible solely for the collection and submission of fingerprints to the RCMP. The RCMP is responsible for all processing, assessment, issuance, and mailing of official clearance certificates, which are sent directly by the RCMP via regular mail.
- Nationwide Document Services does not retain or store fingerprint data after submission and does not have access to RCMP criminal record databases. We do not know or determine whether an applicant has, or has had, a criminal record.
- All processing timelines provided are estimates only and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including RCMP delays or personal circumstances. Nationwide Document Services is not responsible for missed deadlines resulting from such delays. Applicants are strongly advised to complete fingerprinting well in advance of any deadline.
- If your RCMP clearance certificate has not been received within three (3) weeks, you agree to contact the RCMP directly for a status update.
- You acknowledge that all pricing information was disclosed prior to service and that you are under no obligation to proceed if you do not agree with the stated fees.
- If the RCMP rejects fingerprints due to image quality, Nationwide Document Services will provide one complimentary re-capture. Any applicable RCMP processing fee (e.g., $25.00) remains the applicant’s responsibility.
- If a rejection occurs due to an error attributable to Nationwide Document Services, fingerprints will be re-captured and resubmitted at no additional cost. Any liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for fingerprinting services.
- You acknowledge that Nationwide Document Services collects personal information solely for identity verification and to complete RCMP fingerprint submissions. All personal information will be securely destroyed once RCMP retention requirements have been met, in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Personal information will not be disclosed without consent unless required by law or court order.
- The safety and security of our staff is a priority. Service may be refused or terminated immediately if an individual exhibits abusive, threatening, or violent behavior, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Such conduct may result in legal action.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
