Nationwide Document Services provides notarial services through its partnership with a duly licensed Ontario Notary Public. These services are offered in conjunction with fingerprinting services to facilitate the efficient completion of document-related requirements.

Certification / Notarization of Copies of Documents
A certified or notarized copy is a photocopy of an original document that has been examined by a Notary Public and certified as a true, accurate, and complete copy of the original document presented.
Nationwide Document Services may certify copies of documents issued within Canada or internationally, including but not limited to:
- Canadian, United States, and international identification documents, including passports, birth certificates, marriage certificates, and driver’s licences
- Foreign passports and identity documents
- Documents issued by foreign governments, embassies, or consulates
- Documents issued by Canadian government authorities at the federal, provincial, or municipal level
- Documents issued by Canadian and international public or private institutions, including certificates, diplomas, degrees, and academic transcripts
Certification is performed solely on the basis of the original document presented and does not constitute verification of the authenticity, legality, or validity of the document’s contents.
Availability of Services
Notarial services are provided in person and by appointment only, subject to availability.
Client Requirements and Conditions
- Original Documents
Clients must present the original documents to be notarized. Certification cannot be completed based solely on photocopies. - Photocopies
Clients are encouraged to provide their own photocopies. Copies may be prepared on-site where required. - Documents Belonging to Third Parties
Documents belonging to another individual may be notarized provided the original documents are presented and the client is duly authorized to submit them. - Copy Format
Certification is generally performed on black-and-white copies. Clients are responsible for confirming copy format requirements with the receiving authority. - Multiple Documents on a Single Page
Each document is ordinarily notarized on a separate page. Multiple documents on a single page may be notarized only upon the client’s request and where permitted by the receiving authority. - Multi-Page Documents
For multi-page documents, the notarial seal is ordinarily affixed to the first page and the pages are stamped together. Separate sealing of pages may be requested and may be subject to additional fees.

Certified copies may be required by third parties for purposes including, but not limited to:
- Immigration, visa, and residency applications
- Employment, licensing, or regulatory compliance
- Academic or professional credential assessment
- RCMP Criminal Record Checks and identity verification processes
